AUGUST the SALON
An African elephant’s gestational period is 645 days (which is 22 months) (which is 1.7 years),
which is a considerable amount of time.
That being said, come August 1,
it is with great pride and far greater shame that I can announce that This Here will have surpassed the elephant by point one Years.
(Yes, it is growing quite heavy.)
If you have had the misfortune of being stuck within earshot of me at any point during these last one and point eight Years,
perhaps and probably and really very Justifiably, you may have Lost Faith.
and/but/however, now that we’ve beat out the competition,
I am Here & Ready to announce with fear, shame, and pride that a birth date is finally in sight.
(‘In sight’ here meaning tomorrow, August 1).
Far beyond finally, I have resolved to perform what I Ought and more importantly, perform Without Fail that which I have Resolved.
HENCEFORTH,
Collectives (1) will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10:00 and 16:00.
Conversation Pits (11) will be held on Sundays from 20:00 until late.
All hours are open. Come as you please; go as you must.
If you would like to attend a session, please contact me for a Thumbs Up and details via email, text, carrier pigeon, etc.
With love, disaster, and impatience,
Yours,
Juji from August the Salon
FINAL NOTE:
While there are ample amounts of space, supplies, and enthusiasm here, my collection of cups is unimpressive at best. If you like to drink fluids, please keep this in mind.
